Barclays Premier League 2013/14

On Saturday 17th August, the Barclays Premier League starts it new 2013/14 season with Liverpool hosting Stoke City at Anfield.

This is the time when a lot of fans over summer can’t wait for. Getting ready to go match days, either by walking to taking the train or any other way which satisfies the fans. There is one thing for sure, is that they can not wait to walk into the stadium and cheer their team on.

Singing, chanting and edging their team to get their first game kicked off with 3 points and some cracking goals.

For the Barclays Premier League is the top division in English football. Home to teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Swansea City and many more great clubs. This season will be very interesting with the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, the arrival of Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini at Chelsea and Man City respectively. We will be treated to some cracking games, press conferences and the arrival of new talent to shine in the Premier League.

With previous title holders Manchester United defending their 20th league title with the arrival of David Moyes, it will be tough test as usual to see if they can retain the league while challenging for European honours which has recently eluded them. Manchester City will want to become the “noisy neighbours” and take away the bragging rights of the Man Utd fans while Jose has some unfinished business and will want to make Chelsea dominant again.

But until tomorrow, we will have to wait for what is in store for the 2013/14 Premier League season.

Enjoy!!
